About
An evening presenting Arne Moi's book »Das Lager. Ein Norweger in Bergen-Belsen«, a chronicle of survival and its lessons for the present. To mark the newly revised German edition, the Royal Norwegian Embassy invites guests to an event with a historical introduction by Dr. Akim Jah, readings by Rosario Bona, and conversations with Knut Anders Moi, the author's son, and Dr. Elke Gryglewski. At its heart is the account of a young Norwegian who failed in his 1942 attempt to flee to England by ship, passed through several prisons and concentration camps, and survived Bergen-Belsen in 1945. Admission is free, with the bookshop Pankebuch running a book table and a small reception afterwards.
