About

A talk on the deportation of Jews from the Moabit freight station during the Nazi era. Andreas Szagun, a former railway worker who has studied the topic since 1996, discusses the military background of the deportation tracks and the Reichsbahn's thoroughly organised involvement in the Shoah. The creation of the memorial site is also addressed. The event accompanies the exhibition by the association Sie waren Nachbarn e.V. in the display case in front of the Tiergarten town hall.
