About

A round table at the Falling Walls Science House brings together researchers and funders to talk about astronomy and space projects in Africa. It is held in partnership with the John Templeton Foundation and the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation. Speakers include the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory, the Open University of Tanzania, and the John Templeton Foundation. The discussion centres on how new telescope and space initiatives combine scientific excellence with local ownership, technical training, and long-term capacity building across the continent.
