Ayumi Paul Fischmond am Waldsee

A walkable path inscribed into the sculpture garden of Haus am Waldsee forms this artwork. The artist Ayumi Paul created it for the house's 80th anniversary. A sound composition based on the garden's birdsong before sunrise leads visitors past nine stones set into the garden and engraved with a fish inside a moon, weaving together geological processes, the migration routes of plants and animals, and historical and personal memories tied to the place.
