Drop-In: Scherben bringen Glück

Drop-In: Scherben bringen Glück is a drop-in workshop at PETRI Berlin where participants glue shards of everyday pottery back together into a vessel. It is offered by the Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, where the conservation of archaeological pottery finds is part of the daily work. Visitors pick how many pieces they want to assemble, put the vessel together and trace the break lines in colour; alternatively they can bring a white porcelain vessel that may break or is already broken. The offer is open to everyone from the age of 8 and is held on the 5th floor, with entry possible up to 45 minutes before the end.
