About
At the picture-book cinema in Hall 3 of the Humboldt Forum, three picture books are read aloud, their stories about flight, tolerance and multiple perspectives transferred into animal worlds. The books read are „Pudel mit Pommes“ by Pija Lindenbaum, „Alles Schweine oder was?!“ by Alice Brière-Haquet and Pénélope Paicheler, and „Alle sehen eine Katze“ by Brendan Wenzel and Thomas Bodmer. In them, climate refugees search for a new home and meet kindness as well as spite, a sheep family and a pig family turn from bitter feuding neighbours into close friends, and cats can look spotted, blurry, black-and-white or colourful depending on who looks at them. The books appeal to children aged three to six but also delight older visitors.
