About
The picture-book cinema event "Karneval der Tiere" tells of an animal carnival where the best costume wins a prize: each animal dresses up as another and gives rhyming hints about its true identity, which children can guess. The story is a picture book by Philipp Stampe, shown with the kind permission of Südpol Verlag. A loop machine accompanies the reading live with sounds and animal noises. The event is aimed at children aged 4 and up and their parents.
