About

The Bridgerton-Abend invites visitors on a cinematic journey back to the 19th century: an episode from the first season of the series is watched together, exploring the question of how people celebrated back then. The historian Dr. Hannah Lotte Lund, an expert on Berlin salon culture around 1800, shows which elements of the series are based on historical facts and where the line between reality and fiction lies. The Netflix series is based on Julia Quinn's Bridgerton novels. In addition, the duo Beijing Floboe brings Berlin salon culture around 1800 to life on flute and oboe – with music by Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
