Stimmen der Romantik: Romantic songs in dialogue.

Stimmen der Romantik – Komponistinnen im Dialog is a concert evening at the Mendelssohn-Remise where songs by major Romantic composers, women and men, meet in dialogue. On Fanny Hensel, née Mendelssohn's birthday, works by Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn, Clara and Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms as well as Gustav and Alma Mahler will be heard. The evening is shaped by the Viennese soprano Sandra Mayer together with the Japanese concert pianist Naoko Fukumoto, a prize-winner of numerous competitions. The speaker Wolfgang Feiel guides the audience through the programme and offers insights into the works, their creation and the special connections between the composers.
