Bunt, bunter, euer Erlebnis

“Bunt, bunter, euer Erlebnis” is a family workshop for children aged 6 to 12 at the Neue Nationalgalerie. It is offered by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin as part of the series “Rein ins Studio! Workshops für Familien | 2026”. It revolves around the artist Gerhard Richter, who paints over snapshots with thick traces of color, and around the questions of which colors memories have and what cannot be captured in a photograph. Participants bring their own (printed) photographs to life with blobs of paint, with printed templates available as an alternative.
