CHARLES AZNAVOUR – EINE MUSIKALISCHE REISE is a concert show about the man of a thousand songs, going far beyond a classical song recital. The multi-award-winning actor and singer Claudio Maniscalco, together with Bijan Azadian at the piano, takes a journey through the life and songs of Aznavour. The audience meets other famous figures such as Edith Piaf and watches an entire stage world gradually unfold from a large travel suitcase. Popular chansons such as La Bohème, Sie, La Mamma and Du lässt dich gehen can be heard, and special guest Alina Gause, the venue's artistic director, performs selected duets with Maniscalco – a tribute to one of the greatest chansonniers of the 20th century.
