ECHOTROPIA presents new paintings by Christian Achenbach in the Nave at St. Agnes, the exhibition space of König Galerie. Achenbach, born in Siegen in 1978 and living and working in Berlin, is having his third exhibition with the gallery. The show revolves around GENESIS, a monumental painting made especially for the Nave and structured by bright yellows, saturated oranges, burning reds, deep blues and rich greens. Further works set floral still lifes by windows and terraces against far-reaching landscapes, multiplying viewpoints in the manner of a rotating stage.
