Clay & Leaf: Spuren im Ton. Stille im Tee. Teemeditation und Töpferworkshop is a three-hour workshop that combines mindful hand-building with clay, tea and methods drawn from forest bathing. It is led by Daniela Bellm, a designer and ceramicist from Kreuzberg, and Iris Thalhammer, a certified Shinrin Yoku trainer who has lived in Japan and worked on a tea farm. After a tea and breathing meditation you shape your own personal tea cup with your hands, no previous knowledge needed, and the evening closes with a small tea party. The workshop is part of the Berlin Tea Week; the price includes clay, materials, firing and glazing service, and the finished cup can be picked up after about three to four weeks.
