Master The Art Of Matcha Workshop is a calm, hands-on workshop experience all about Japanese matcha, from field to cup. Behind the workshop is Franziska, founder of Atelier Kyō, a studio for Japanese tea and crafts, who brings her experience from working on a small tea farm in rural Japan. After a welcome tea and a short introduction, it offers insights into the history, cultivation and benefits of matcha as well as a guided tasting of different cultivars and grades. Participants get to know traditional tools and whisking techniques and prepare their own bowl of matcha step by step, both traditionally as usucha and modernly as a matcha latte, with Japanese sweets to enjoy.
