COLA

COLA is a concert by the Montreal trio of Tim Darcy (vocals/guitar), Ben Stidworthy (bass) and Evan Cartwright (drums). The band is announcing its new album "Cost of Living Adjustment", out on Fire Talk Records, which deals among other things with socialism vs. hell and rolling the dice with life. It is the band's most maximalist work yet, known for its "tasteful minimalism" aesthetic. The single "Hedgesitting", which sounds like a deconstructed, chopped-up B-side of The Cure's "Disintegration", comes with a video directed by Kristina Pedersen.
