About
Zoh Amba plays a concert at Bi Nuu, with Ned Collette as support. Amba, established in the New York free jazz scene as a saxophonist, returns to the guitar on the songwriting debut 'Eyes Full', the first release on Matador. The songs, recorded live without overdubs in Asheville, blend lurching blues with Appalachian folk and deal with being seen. Amba is joined by Kevin Hyland on electric guitar and Jim White on drums; the show is presented by Rolling Stone, Gaesteliste.de and ByteFM.
