About

A service of peace devotion with musical accompaniment by guitarist Peter Renkl. It concludes the Ecumenical Peace Decade under the motto 'Courageously Resistant', which since 1980 has been shaped by churches and peace groups in the ten days before the Day of Repentance and Prayer. In a time marked by wars, social tensions and growing inequality, it invites reflection on peace, justice and our responsibility in the world. The motto recalls that peace does not arise on its own; it needs people who courageously stand up for others, speak out against injustice and do not give up hope.
