CUMBIA FEST BERLIN - DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS is a party night at the SÄÄLCHEN bringing together live music, DJs, performances, colour and the sounds of Latin American sound culture. The fest is part of the Día de los Muertos programme at Holzmarkt and celebrates a magical night in which past and present merge through music, dance and memory. Live acts are KUMBIA BORUKA with Colombian cumbia fused with tropical rhythms, psychedelic guitars, brass and accordion, and iLLBiLLY HiTEC ft. Longfingah with reggaetronics and bass-heavy Latin beats. DJs play alongside, and the altar becomes a meeting point between worlds to let the souls dance.
