DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS 2026 💜 is a multi-day festival for the Mexican Day of the Dead held on the Holzmarkt grounds. Hosted by Holzmarkt, it honors the departed with altars, candles, copal incense, mariachis and cumbia, celebrating a reunion rather than a farewell. The program features live music, walking acts, workshops such as screen printing and Calaveritas crafting for children, plus Mexican food and drinks like mezcal and pozole. The day LA CEREMONIA starts at the Marktplatz, afterwards the celebration continues with the Cumbia Fest in the Säälchen.
