Daoud – ACT Night: jazz from jazz's enfant terrible.

Daoud plays a concert with his band at the Gretchen club in Berlin. The French-Moroccan trumpeter and composer is considered the enfant terrible of jazz, breaking rules in a way that thrills both new listeners and jazz connoisseurs. His music moves between playfulness and seriousness, chaos and tenderness, irony and great openness. With his new album “ok” (ACT, 2025) and as part of a European tour, he offers quiet lyrical moments alongside plenty of energy and joy of playing live – after celebrated appearances at Ronnie Scott's, North Sea Jazz, Elbjazz and Montreux, among others.
