Der Nussknacker - Ballett mit Orchester

"Der Nussknacker - Ballett mit Orchester" is a grand classical ballet telling the Christmas tale of young Clara, whose nutcracker comes to life at night and leads her into a magical adventure with a battle against mice, a transformation into a prince and a fairy-tale journey through an enchanted kingdom. The production is performed by the Paris Ballet Theater and is an original production by Franceconcert, presented by CAPITALE PRODUCTION. It features Tchaikovsky's timeless music with libretto by Petipa and choreography based on Ivanov, inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann's story. First performed in December 1892 at the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg, the two-part ballet runs 2 hours and 10 minutes including an intermission.
