The Digitale Spielwiese is a free, open drop-in offering for digital literacy for children aged 5 and up, held in the makerspace on the ground floor of the library. It is run by the Tempelhof-Schöneberg public libraries. It features a changing programme around coding and robotics that introduces children to these topics through play. The children get to know the library's robots and gather their first programming experience.
