Tinker Thursday: coding and crafting for kids.

At the tinker Thursday in the library in the Märkisches Viertel, children and young people create virtual play worlds with game tiles, steer the Awbie and apply what they have learned in the ScratchJR programming environment. Blue Bots are programmed through imaginative landscapes, electronics are crafted, and circuits are built from simple materials such as LEDs and conductive tape to light up paper cars, houses, insects and more. The event is run in cooperation with the TüftelLab and is aimed at participants aged 5 to 16 and their families. Participation is free and only possible when accompanied by a parent or guardian; no registration is required.
