ECHOES OF HIDDEN WORLDS – DANCING AFTER HOURS is an exhibition of drawings, sculptures and installation works at resiART. It presents the artist Nina Plášková, who in her multimedia practice creates visual worlds between dream, memory and myth. Shaped by autobiographical experiences and influences of Dark Romanticism, she explores questions of identity, belonging and psychological borderline experiences. From dream protocols arise hybrid figures, narrative spaces and symbolic structures addressing morbidity, vulnerability and the unconscious as repressed aspects of human existence.
