About
“Una altra via… / Eine andere Italienische Reise” is an exhibition proposing a new journey of discovery through Italy, inspired by Goethe's “Italienische Reise”. It is guided by two young protagonists: an Italian woman, Laura, and a German visitor, Jan, who accompany visitors together. Jan is curious about the places of the Second World War and the Resistenza, and through the dialogue with Laura mutual prejudices are to be overcome. The journey leads through ten stations, from fascism and antifascism via the German occupation, antisemitism and the Shoah to the resistance movements and the post-war period.
