About
The Humboldt Forum hosts a reading for children in which picture books about parting and remembrance are read aloud. The programme belongs to the Bilderbuchkino series, forms part of the programme accompanying the exhibition un_endlich. Leben mit dem Tod, and is aimed at children aged three to six, whom adults may accompany only. The books read are “Die Farbe von Zitronen” by Kenesha Sneed, “Als Oma immer kleiner wurde” by Inka Pabst and Mehrdad Zaeri, and “Wenn die ganze Welt…” by Joseph Coelho and Allison Colpoys. At their centre stand memories of friends and relatives who are no longer there – some bring sadness, others give a feeling of being safe.
