80. Waisenhausgespräch – “Lernt die Menschheit nie? Erinnerungskultur als Mehrgenerationenprojekt”
Betsaal, Berliner Straße 120-121, 13187 Berlin
Eintritt frei / free entry
About
The 80th Waisenhausgespräch asks how a culture of remembrance can succeed as a project across generations. Organized by the Cajewitz Stiftung together with the SchuleEins and the Theater OfW, it features pupils presenting their research into the history of the former orphanage, a staged reading by Anja S. Gläser and Florentine Schara (text and staging by Philipp Urrutia, with English surtitles), and a panel discussion with Lena Ditte Nissen and Rosa Jellinek. In this way the historic building's Betsaal becomes a place of living memory where past and present enter into dialogue.
