"Fadenkunst – für Frauen" is an open, creative handicraft café at the Stadtbibliothek Ingeborg-Drewitz in Berlin-Steglitz. Under the motto "Kreativ. International. Verbindend." it offers a protected space for meeting, exchange and creating together. At its centre is creative work with threads – knitting, crocheting, embroidery and other textile crafts. Women from different cultural backgrounds come together, learn from one another and make new contacts; a cooperation with Benn, the Familienzentrum Lankwitz and the Mittelhof, admission free, no registration required.
