At this bike coding session, your bicycle or bike trailer receives an additional, individual marking to complement any existing frame number. The Berlin police (Direktion 5 – Regionalabschnitt 52/53) store the bike details together with your personal data in a register, with your consent. This makes a lost bike easier to identify and improves the chances of recovering it after a theft. Please bring your ID or passport plus proof of ownership; minors must be accompanied by their guardians or present written parental consent.
