Familien-Tüftel-Donnerstag: virtual worlds for ages 5 to 16.

The family tinkering Thursday invites visitors to work with technology in a playful, creative way. Using physical game pieces, participants create virtual play worlds, steer Awbie and apply what they have learned straight away in the ScratchJR programming environment. Blue Bots are also programmed and drawn through imaginative landscapes, electronics are crafted and simple circuits are made from LEDs and conductive tape to light up paper cars, houses, insects and more. The activities are aimed at participants aged 5 to 16 and their families; taking part is free, possible only when accompanied by a guardian, and no registration is needed.
