About
Führung Baustelle Stammhaus offers a look behind the scenes of the extensive modernisation of the Komische Oper Berlin's main house on Behrenstraße. It is run by the Komische Oper Berlin. Participants walk the construction site together and learn about the building project, current progress, the architecture and the history of the house, with anecdotes from everyday opera life also included. At the start they are given a hard hat, safety vest, safety shoes and a torch plus a safety briefing; the meeting point is the Infocenter at Unter den Linden 41.
