About
Future Archives / Archive Futures is an exhibition at the rk – Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst. Kunstverein Tiergarten is a guest at the gallery in 2026, with works by Mediengruppe Bitnik, Nora Al-Badri, Klara Källström & Thobias Fäldt with Thomas Sauvin, the Mail Art archive of Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt and Robert Rehfeldt and Sim Chi Yin among those on show. Taking its cue from the way archives store what is past and at the same time form infrastructures of possible futures, it asks how practices of archiving are changing and what other forms of remembering and knowledge production may grow out of them. Julia Heunemann and Ulrike Riebel direct Kunstverein Tiergarten, and Lusin Reinsch is the exhibition's co-curator.
