About

The Vokal Ensemble Batumi, the state choir of Georgia's Adjara region, performs a concert in St. Matthäus-Kirche marking its 35th anniversary. Organised by KulturLeben Berlin – Schlüssel zur Kultur e.V., the choir presents UNESCO-protected Georgian polyphonic vocal music: love, dance and work songs, spiritual hymns and 20th-century Georgian songs, alongside arrangements of works by German composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach and Franz Schubert.
