Hubertus mass with Parforcehornbläser Berlin.
Gottesdienst zu Ehren des heiligen Hubertus – mit dem Jagdhornbläserkreis Berlin
About
A Hubertus mass in honour of Saint Hubertus, the patron saint of hunters, taking place in the castle courtyard. It is performed by the Brandenburgischen Parforcehornbläser Berlin, a group of hunters, riders and dog handlers who have been blowing the Parforce hunting horn for more than 40 years. The liturgical music is taken over by metal horns, and many of the fanfares and marches are over 300 years old. The melodies of the traditional Hubertus mass originate from France and Belgium, where the first written versions emerged at the end of the 19th century.
