About
A church service featuring the Martin play "Das Spiel vom Heiligen Martin", a concert held at Berlin Cathedral. The play is based on "Le Mystère de Saint Martin" by Andrieu de la Vigne (1496), newly arranged by Anserium Gänserich (2017), with music by Georg Forster (Nuremberg 1565). Performing are the Kurrende of the Staats- und Domchor Berlin and the girls' choir 2 of the Sing-Akademie zu Berlin, directed by Gudrun Gierszal and Johanna Walch, with an address by cathedral preacher Stefan Scholpp. Singing along is welcome – bring a lantern, and afterwards a lantern procession with a horse takes place in the Lustgarten.
