About
A church service for the Day of Repentance and Prayer, a holiday shortly before the end of the church year. Behind it stands the Christian conviction that people, whatever deeds or guilt they carry, always have the chance to make a clean slate and start anew. This requires an unflinching look at one's own life, admitting one's own mistakes and drawing consequences from them. The holiday serves as a wake-up call, a religious parallel to New Year's Eve: to turn around and dare a fresh start with God's help.
