About

The series is hosted by Berlin-based jazz guitarist Gur Liraz, who invites a different guitarist for each edition. This time the Mexican-born, Berlin-based guitarist and composer Hugo Fernández performs, blending the jazz tradition with influences from folk, classical music and beyond. A Berklee graduate known for imaginative original compositions and an exploratory approach to improvisation, he plays three sets between 8 and 11 PM as part of the new Silent Series with optional headphone use.
