About
A guided tour through the New Synagogue Berlin and the nearby surroundings of the Spandauer Vorstadt. Using examples from religious texts and modern conflicts within Jewish groups, it explores the history of queerness in Judaism. It looks at the lives of queer Jews such as resistance fighter Herbert Budzidzslawski and social worker Hannah Karminski, who lived, loved and fought close to the house. Jewish women such as Regina Jonas, the world's first female rabbi, are also featured.
