INK&ART Vol. 02 is a one-day interdisciplinary art opening bringing visual art, photography, body art, tattoo artists and DJ sets together under one roof, under the motto "A VERNISSAGE TO GET LOST IN". Behind it is a team of around 60 people, supported by Gute Sache e. V.; after a pilot project in April, it is intended as a recurring date in Berlin's cultural calendar. A walkable labyrinth is being built inside the Black Hall at Mahalla, where works by more than 40 artists hang, interspersed with tattoo stations, music and the artists themselves. The format aims to unite Berlin's creative subcultures, which often exist side by side but rarely come together, in one shared space.
