//interfaces/ #beats: unitedberlin meets techno

A concert that fuses contemporary ensemble music with techno and club culture. The ensemble unitedberlin, conducted by Christoph Breidler, meets Berlin club culture with live act Konstantin Heuer. Together with the composers Sarvenaz Safari, Ying Wang, Henry Koch, Jobst Liebrecht and Konstantin Heuer, new works for ensemble and beats are created, complemented by Vito Žuraj's „Tension“ and an ensemble version of Kraftwerk's „Autobahn“. The concert asks whether club culture and new music, leaving their familiar spaces, can develop a new shared language.
