About
"Irgendwo da oben" is a play about life, death and the healing power of friendship. Written by Kaya Tina Büttner and directed by Petra Schönwald, it tells of Yuna, who since losing her mother hates school and retreats into secret conversations with her imaginary friend Jerome. When Max suddenly appears in the schoolyard and keeps asking questions, the two children gradually discover what they share and draw courage from their friendship: Yuna faces her grief while Max stands up to his brothers. The roughly hour-long piece, performed without an intermission, is recommended from age 8 and for school years 3 to 6.
