About
„KUCKUCKSNEST“ is a play at GRIPS Podewil am Alex, recommended for grades 4 to 9. The piece by Nina van Tongeren in its German-language premiere, with a translation by Henriette Festerling, is a gripping chamber play about mental health. It follows the sisters Saffa and Nim, whose mother one moment wants to fly to Mallorca and the next sits on the roof singing, refusing to come down. While Nim wants to go to the youth welfare office hoping for a foster father, Saffa does everything she can to keep the family together.
