New-music festival on the theme of resonance.

Klangwerkstatt Berlin is a festival of new music featuring concerts, performances, talks and lunchtime concerts with a snack. This year it is framed by the theme of "Resonanz" (resonance), drawing on ideas of the sociologist Hartmut Rosa, who opposes the accelerated modern life with the notion of resonance. On 6 November the ensemble LUX:NM opens the festival with the programme "Von der Vermessung des Schlafes", with works among others by Kaija Saariaho, Helmut Lachenmann and Peter Gahn. Later on, ensembles such as ensemble mosaik, AuditivVokal Dresden and EnsembleKollektiv Berlin appear.
