About

„Colours of Ghosts“ is a concert evening within the Klangwerkstatt Berlin festival, dedicated to the composer and sound artist Matthias Kaul (1949–2020). The ensemble L’ART POUR L’ART performs works such as „Some Hot Bottles Coolin'Down“ for cooling bottles and „White Noise 'n Colours“ for bass flute with talkbox, in dialogue with Macarena Rosmanich's „Kafka's Ghost“ for prepared piano. Kaul's compositions lead into the „side rooms“ of hearing, where hidden sounds and everyday objects develop a life of their own. The evening is moderated by Leonie Reineke.
