Kunst und Empowerment
Grips Theater im Podewil, Klosterstraße 68 10179 Berlin
About
"Kunst und Empowerment – kreativ.sichtbar.kollektiv" is an open workshop series that creates creative, discrimination-critical spaces for young people. It is artistically led by Mohammed Jouni and Ellen Uhrhan. Together with activists and cooperation partners, young people develop artistic workshops on topics such as ableism, racism, adultism or social inequality. Through theatre, music, poetry, film, photography and visual art, new forms of political education emerge that are low-threshold, participatory and language-sensitive, giving young people visibility, expression and a taste of creative activism.
