About

A guided curatorial tour through the exhibition „Forms of Alignment“ at the museum of the Neue Synagoge. The exhibition was curated by Daniel Laufer and Constanze Murfitt and brings together five artistic positions by Jason Hendrik Hansma, Michaela Meise, Katja Pilipenko, Ariel Schlesinger and Claudia Wieser. It explores relationships between artworks, people, materials, space and time, focusing on the approximations, tensions, resonances and new sightlines that emerge in dialogue with the historic venue. The tour takes place in cooperation with the Stiftung Neue Synagoge Berlin – Centrum Judaicum, Dagesh – Jüdische Kunst im Kontext and the Jüdischen Kulturtage.
