Lauren Greenfield: Social Studies
Fotografiska Berlin, Oranienburger Straße 54, 10117 Berlin, Mitte
About
Social Studies is an exhibition of photographs, installations and immersive environments about the effects of social media. It is the work of photographer and filmmaker Lauren Greenfield, who followed thirty teenagers in Los Angeles and was given access to their real and digital lives. The show examines how social media shapes identity, relationships and growing up, from bullying and beauty standards to the life-changing decisions of teenage life. A dedicated screening room presents all five episodes of her documentary series.
