About
The show Die Magie der Straße presents masterpieces of street photography at f³ – freiraum für fotografie. Around one hundred photographs by 45 photographers from the Leica archive, made between 1934 and 2023, trace the history of the genre, with work by Jane Evelyn Atwood, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Elliott Erwitt, William Klein and Steve McCurry, among others. Street photography records people's lives in urban public space and makes social change visible. The exhibition is curated by Karin Rehn-Kaufmann and Inas Fayed.
