Leenalchi concert cancelled: Pansori meets post-punk.

Leenalchi, a seven-piece alternative band from Seoul, was to perform live – the event has been cancelled because the band called off their entire Europe tour. The band reinterprets the Korean narrative genre Pansori, characterized by singing and percussion, in post-punk manner with influences from funk, new wave, rock and disco. Their line-up with two basses, drums, keyboard, no guitar and several singers is as unique as their sound. Their first releases outside Korea, the EP „Here Comes That Crow“ and the album „Tiger Is Coming“, came out on David Byrne's label Luaka Bop.
