About
'Apricot trees exist' is a concert evening devoted to new music. Behind the programme is ELISION, an Australian ensemble of seventeen musicians who for more than three decades have specialised in complex, virtuosically demanding contemporary works. The programme brings together pieces by Arul, Barrett, Cassidy, Lim and Simpson. The ensemble, whose members are based in cities including Berlin, Sydney and Melbourne, is especially noted for its authoritative interpretations of music by Liza Lim and Richard Barrett.
